West Virginia Federal Credit Union Preferred Relationship Benefits Program

Membership account eligibility requirements include the following preferred relationship:

  • Active West Virginia Federal Credit Union Share Draft (Checking) Account

  • Payroll deposit (where available), retirement, or Social Security (SSI) payment must be directed deposited to a WVFCU Checking Account

  • Enrolled in Home Banking, e-Statements

  • Current West Virginia Federal Credit Union loans must elect auto payment from a West Virginia Federal Credit Union account, if applicable.

Preferred Relationship participation is not automatic. All members must qualify at the time of service or product origination and maintain our preferred relationship for the term of the product or service. Change in eligibility status during the term of the product or service may result in loss of future benefits received. Benefit is not retroactive to existing loans, deposits, or services. Future available benefits are subject to change without notice, effective on the 1st day of each month.

  • Mortgage & Fixed Home Equity  $100 Discount off origination fee with: Automatic payment from WVFCU account and any of the following relationships: * - Preferred Relationship Benefits Program * - Outstanding Auto Loan *- Aggregate deposit relationship > $25,000 

  • ARM Mortgage $100 discount off ARM Mortgage Origination Fee with: Automatic Payment from WVFCU account and any of the following relationships. * - Preferred Relationship Benefits Program * - Outstanding Auto Loan *- Aggregate deposit relationship > $25,000

  • Auto Loans Rate reductions for: -0.10% for auto ACH payment from another FI or Auto pay transfer from a WVFCU deposit account - (NO payment coupon book ordered). -0.15% for Preferred Relationship discount with an active WVFCU Checking Account or existing WVFCU outstanding secured loan.

Deposits

  • Periodic opportunities to participate in CD Specials offering interest rate enhancements.

  • One overdraft fee waiver request per rolling twelve-month period.

Other Products and Services

  •  $10 Discount on annual safe deposit box rental.

  • Discount on certain periodic promotional items such as theme park tickets, etc.
